🛠️ Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and downhole tools for oil and gas operations.
• Perform structural calculations and pressure analysis according to international standards.
• Run FEA simulations using tools such as SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS.
• Manage engineering projects from concept to delivery: scope, schedule, budget, and quality control.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure technical and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare technical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and engineering documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety (HSE) and quality (QA/QC) standards and actively participate in design reviews.

• 🔍 What we’re looking for:
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) accreditation by Engineers Australia.
  • Over 5 years of experience in mechanical design, structural analysis, and project execution.
  • Proficiency with tools such as SolidWorks, MS Project, FEA software, and knowledge of technical standards (AS, API, ASME, ISO).
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly in downhole, bottom hole, and surface tools.
  • Strong knowledge in pressure equipment design and performing mechanical stress calculations.
  • Proven experience in project engineering, including budget management, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with industry standards including API.
